This is third batch of training that I conducted for Phil Ideas in Davao Office. I am glad that the participants, all officers of the Cooperatives have lived up to the expectation of utilizing the Adult -Learning Modality with support from the other members of the group under the Peer- learning Approach.
Officers of Cooperatives do help each other in creating an organization that is responsive to the needs of the members and general public.
Today, April 11, 2013, as this is a Computer Literacy Course, the participants experienced the use of an internet computer program where I control the movement of the computer file while I am in Cebu City and the participants are in Davao City.
A simple opening program was conducted with an invocation led by ROMEO A. PENAREJO and singing of the pambansang awit conducted by CANDELARIA C. PORIO . Training immediately started with the reporting requirement using word files. These reports shall and posted in this blogspot for reference.

As manager of CFARBEMPCO, I have to monitor/oversee the overall day-to-day business activity of the cooperative to
ensure profitability and viability of the business.
For
the realization and attainment of the
cooperative’s annual goals and
objectives, I have to consider/follow the annual action plan and
budget set forth by the Board of
Directors, officers and the management
. Conduct weekly/periodic operations
review to assess and determine
the actual performances compared to
budget. Hence, updated monthly reports is very
essential in arriving at sound
decisions.
In
this manner, any inefficiency,
unfavourable variances and problems arising in the day-to-day business activity that may result to losses can be
predicted and therefore necessary remedial/corrective actions
can be initiated.
For
the 1st quarter of 2014,
the total revenue generated
reached P12,500,000.00 which is
P1,000,000.00 higher or 7.41%
better compared to P 13,500,000.00 budget. This favourable performance
has likewise resulted to 10%
increase in net surplus for the quarter attributed further by
the 3% reduction in the production
cost. If this performance is sustained,
we are assured of hitting our target this year or even will surpass projection.

Performed as secretary for eight (8) years,
for the year I’ve learn a lot how to make minutes of the

first time, I need to learn in relation of my position.
FEBRUARY 12, 2014 - The group experienced the utilization of the internet in learning as peers and exercising the Adult-learning modality of training.
The participants actively participated in the learning session. This shall encourage them to learn more and go beyond the idea that learning computers and be literate is difficult. I believe each one is now motivated to learn more and help each other acquire more competencies.
